Well it had to happen, at least the summer is over. The biggest monster scoop has had a total material failure! I was out detecting getting ready to go after another target set Scoopzilla into the sand matrix, stomped, wiggle and then leaned back on the handle like I have done 100's of times before I hear this crackle, then snap :BangHead: Scoopzilla broke right in half! :sad7: well the water hunting is over until repairs can be made. To add insult to total scoop failure, finds for the day was 2 pull tabs and a bullet. As you can see from my avitar once was Scoopzilla, I will miss this outstanding monster scoop! Until I can bring it back ALIVE!!!!!! Moooowaaahhaaa!!!!

Its hard working.

Make a video of the return of scoopzilla !!!

Oh, Dear Lord!

What a sorry thing to happen ; hope you have a "back-up" while Scoopzilla is in the repair shop.

Lorraine

Please accept my sympathy. Sadden by your loss. :unhappysmiley: ( Hope you get back to action soon)

Looks like you can go to your closest ALRO metal store and get a piece of thick wall aluminum pipe in that size and put it back in working order.

That's the plan, just have to get the down time to do it. Also need a new broom handle to shove into the pipe to give additional strength and support.
