Haven't posted in a long long time and I'm finally getting back into the "swing" of things. 
I met an older man at the local park the other day and we somehow got on the topic of detecting. He informed me that he had a White's metal detector that had he had maybe used 5 times and was wanting to sell it. 
I normally wouldn't be as exited as I was except for the fact he told me he had purchased it at a local store where they only sell the high price whites. When I asked how much he replied, " Well I was hoping to get $300 for it". Needless to say that next morning I was at his house checking out the detector. Brand new White's DFX plus head phones and carrying case. I handed him 3 Benjamins and received my DFX plus all the extra goodies and was on my way.

. I'll be watching his progress with anticipation since he is usually swinging just a few feet from me. Am I jealous....naaaa. But I am glad he got a good one. Maybe he will let me borrow it sometime
