I was going to do an update because I’m almost sure I’ve posted before but I wasn’t finding the thread… leaning Scotty based on the early archaic stuff coming from that spot and the flaking

Not seeing scottsbluff, on the red background one… more late archaic- woodland. Black background does not fit a scottsbluff, either, I.m.o.
However it does look early.
Something for scale for size reference and what area of the country found, would go a long way if looking for a I.d.

Right it’s a new thread, I left out details, The black is a Scott’s bluff from projectile points site, red is mine. Se Kansas find, found in a place that seems to be early archaic. It’s around 2 inches. I would tend to agree on woodland if it weren’t for where it was found, and that flaking, it just reminds me of early flaking but I’m by no means an expert on flaking techniques… the reason for the update was that I found the similar point, on the projectile point site. The pieces seem to fit, but it is a bit different from most Scott’s bluff points. That’s why I posted to feel out if others saw enough to call it a Scotty. I appreciate the input

Nice find for sure
