Scouted a new permission.

Damnails and I spent about four hours this morning looking around a new permission that is very promising. We found a few buttons, small buckles and several ornate brass pieces. I found a peice to a pocket watch and a couple harmonica reeds. My best find was the officers highdome eagle button. This is only the second one I've ever found and I'm glad to have it.
We haven't even started in the yard yet, so there should be coins on this site. The amount of high tones suggest that it hasn't been hunted much. This site is very near a Confederate camp that we hunt and rumor has it that Stonewall Jackson spent the night there two days before the Battle of McDowell.
We can't wait to get back and dig in our heals. Should be a long lasting permission. Thanks for looking.
