Scovill Button - General Sevice - Age???

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a while but I made a neat button find this weekend that I could use some help with an ID on. It appears to be a general service button (post civil war). The back reads "SCOVILL MF'G CO. WATERBURY". I found an almost identical example online but the example has a large dot between "CO." And "WATERBURY". This button does not have a dot. Can any of you button guys and gals help me out with an ID?

The "Great Seal" button was introduced as the US Army's "general service" uniform button in 1902. From then until 1910, the button did not have a raised rim. Yours has the raised rim, AND what is called "black finish" on its brass front (to make it less visible to the enemy in combat). Having both of those two characteristics dates your Great Seal button to sometime between 1910 and 1923, when the "black finish" was discontinued.
