Scovill Waterbury button help?

Today I found a Scovill MFG. CO. Waterbury button, 15-16 mm. I have narrowed down the face of the butten as having the Great Seal on it.....however for the life of me, I can't seem to find any information on the "Scovill MFG. CO. Waterbury button WITH the Great seal."
Any and all help would be very much appreciated. I am on the Oregon coast, and this butten was found about 5-6 inches down in my yard.

Sounds like a U.S. Army "Great Seal" general service button, c. 1902 - present.
