Scrapping Refrigerators

Do you guys strip the copper off refrigerators that you find or just sell them like that? Just wondering about the freon, just vent it or have it sucked out? thanks

Some scrap yards won't take fridges with refrigerant in them. Others don't care.
I already have a recovery machine so I remove the charge and cut out the copper.
