Alright guys. So I woke up this morning thinking about what place I should try out the new deep mode that I got from Goio. Well I decided to go into Veterans memorial field. Immeidiatly I started to dig dimes that I had never dug before in the park. Also got a lot of pennies as well. Ended the day with 74 cents.
Alright lets back up a little bit...After trying the side of the park where I found the 1950 silver dime. I then lead another approach. I went to where I saw 3 buisness people had sat to talk about their issues and just to have lunch the other day before. I went a couple of feet away from the bench and got a quarter/dime reading on my SE. Now since it was more going towards a silver quarter/dime reading... I was kind of thinking it was a silver quarter or a silver dime.
I cut my slit in the grass and pulled out each side of the plug. Then I took my probe and probed it. Turns out the object was only 2-3 inches down. It was not very deep. Now I cut some of the bottem plug away and out pops this little silver dog pendent. Not knowing that it was silver at the time. The only markings that were on the pendent were CN. I am thinking it was someones initials or a companys initials. It definatly fell of a charm bracelet though. Maybe the buisness woman was wearing one at the point that she had two lunch with the men?
Well we will never know for sure. So later this afternoon... I take it into the jewerly lady to see if the charm is silver or not. It was really heavy in my hands! She also said it was heavy! She told me that it was silver definatly but probably not worth much. I was like, "I don't care...I keep all my finds."
After walking out, I was so pleased that I had gotten my second silver!!!
If you guys have any opinions on wheather or not this is truley silver go right ahead and say. I am open to all suggestions!
I had a great 2 1/2 hour hunt! I hope you all did as well!!!
