I did discover that the Omega is 7.8kHz and the F44 is 7.69kHz. I wonder why such a small difference in kHz? To keep you from switching coils?

The coils from the F11/22/44 will work with the Omega and vice-versa....the small KHZ difference is of little to no significance. All 7.7khz Frat Bros detectors can swap.

Thanks for the info. After a little more research I discovered the Frat Bros or Greek Series have a 7.69 to 7.8 khz range.

Now for the big question, has anyone used a 11 inch concentric teardrop on a Omega and what was the results?

Better yet, a 10 inch round concentric search coil.

TheHunterGT, will this adapter allow me to use a screw on F2 coil on an older push in Bounty Hunter 3300? Conversely, will it allow me to use Greek series coils with my Land Ranger Pro? The center pin on the push in part of the adapter is what caused me concern, but there does seem to be a space for it on the female end in the control boxes.

Freaking mind boggling! I finally figured out that if I have to above plug.. I'll I need to do is order any coil I want for a Fisher F-5.

For the LRP..

Plug ordered.

Thanks Hunter... I know it's been a journey.

I guess I'm blind or can't read, where can you pick up the above adapter?

Yes those will work for both scenarios....F2 and 3300 conversion.....and LRP and Greek coils conversion.

The middle pin is null and nothing is soldered to it.....nothing to worry about.

This link might be of help...

Thanks Hunter. I ordered the adapter and it works perfect! Now I have a Whites coil Detech SEF 10x12 14khz that I'd like to cross over to a Fisher F75. I was mistakenly sold the coil for only $61. Considering it's a $180 coil I'd love to make use of it. With the F75 Frequency shift and the right adapter maybe it could work.

No problem guys...glad to be of service to the community.

@vferrari...I sent ya a PM.

@cipher...IDK if that will work or not. Obviously not covered under warranty...so tread carefully lol. :occasion14:
