looking for search titles for old train stops and towns for books and pictures in southern calif
ive tried historical,ghost towns.former settments,old trains stop
whats your goto search title.

I always start at loc.gov. For me, it always seems to yield the best results.
Then I changed the "format" to maps, and entered the search words "California railroads", and then "go". All relevant maps populate, and I find one in the time frame I want, this one just happens to be 1882. Sure hope this works for you, and good luck in the search!!

You can also leave the format alone, and just type in "California Railroad". This will bring in newspaper articles, books, etc. as well.
