Garrett ACE 250...Garrett Pro-pointer... "The secret of vast riches begins with a single penny"
Our house was built in the early 1920's and I'm finally finding things in our yard, not much ::) but it's a beginning. Saturday I found a hot wheel car, penny (1984) that looks like they had a run in with a mower, a quarter (1979), two keys. Today, I found another hot wheel car. The people that lived in the house before us had 3 boys, what some of the neigbors told us...

Well, your starting out like everybody else did. Getting used to that machine is the first big step and will help as you go.
Good luck with the rest of the yard. Take your time and keep your coil close to the ground.

Thes bound to be something in that yard! Keep searching! :icon_pirat:

give it time, you'll get used to it and the treasure will come

Good luck on more finds and get some pictures for us sometime to feed our eyes!!! We need eye candy!!! We especially like to see pulltabs! :tongue3:

keep on hunting that yard low and slow. Go after the weak signals just to see what they are. I went over my back yard this weekend (that I thought was hunted out) and pulled a 1946 wheat cent and a 1959 silver dime! Both signals were so small that I might not noticed them if I was trying to cover a lot of ground elsewhere. The yard is one of the best places to hone your craft. Keep up the good fight!

definitely some old coins in your yard, you'll get em. peace, bigrig :headbang:

It's a nice start...Stay at it, you'll score that Silver soon enough...HH

I'm hoping there's goodies in the yard. I did find a few pieces today, A big rusty nail :(, also what I thought was a bullet casing but looked a little more like the outer casing of a battery :-[ and AA battery a battery. And the best yet :o :D a 1942 wheat penny. Been searching under 2 large Pine trees, that's where I've been finding these things.

it will pay for itself in no time at all...

I am starting to take it slow, using some advice a club mamber told me and it's working :). I also am going to purchase a better pin-pointer tomorrow (Garrett Pro-Pointer), called the store and they have 1 asked them to hold it for me. Should help with locating the item in the hole better.
