Seated dime

I have a couple seated quarters, and a seated full dollar.. but they are all from last year. Every silver I have found this year has been 19xx- mercs, rosies, washington.

A few weeks ago my hunting buddy found an 1854 half dime while I was at work. I was super excited for him but kind of bummed I hadn't found an old silver for a while.

Congratulations!!!! Aw man I know that must of felt gooooood. I am hurting for 1800's silver myself rough year. Closest I got was a 1900 Half.

Awesome early seated dime! I like the old reverse design on them, like yours, much more than newer design. Yours is also in great condition! My dad found an 1888 seated dime and 1834 large cent last month, right in the middle of the trail! I still haven't found a single old coin this year!

Excellent arrows 'transitional' silver! That was one of the years they reweighted silver coinage to match changing prices.

With you finding 2 Seated Quarters ,& A Trade Dollar. Last Year
Plus Numerous Silver Coins this year , I would not Complain too much.

Just the 'Trade Dollar" would make 10 years of Detecting.

I have not found an 'OLD' 1940's or older Silver in 2+years.
