I did some detecting yesterday and found some cool items. 1838 Matron head LC, a really toasted 1877 Seated Liberty quarter, some Wheat pennies, 2 Colonial flat buttons, suspender buckle, an old hair barrett, and a fancy escutcheon. This was at a Colonial site I have hunted before but I have been going low and slow and digging iffy signals. A beautiful day here in the northeast but worse weather is predicted in the future. Thanks for looking and stay safe out there. IMG_0001.webpIMG_0002.webpIMG_0003.webpIMG_0004.webpIMG_0005.webpIMG_0006.webp

That is my first one in 45 plus years of detecting. Wish it was a little healthier.

Yes, Johncoho, the ground may have treated it badly but it appears that it had plenty of detail when it was dropped...

dang too bad that quarter is eaten up. Heavy use of fertilizer in that area? doesn't really look like fire damage
