Found my second 1938s nickel in the past 2 months. Kind of ironic considering all my Whitmans are full now and I don't need a 1938s. So I will set it aside in my "extras" tube.
I know this is a hard one for collectors to find. I thought about offering it for sale but know most persons on this site are really only doing it for the "thrill of the hunt". I post this to offer encouragement that a 1938s is attainable. Keep looking. I guess when you don't need one is when you usually find it.

Cool. That's the ONLY one I'm missing. 1938-2015.

Very cool! I've found 4 of them in 300,000+ nickels searched. Out here in California, they're a little easier to find than elsewhere.

Great find, still havent found one myself. Too bad about that scratch.
