Hello Fellow T'Netters,
On my last hunt at the end of 2018, I came across multiple silver dimes and ended retrieving my first Barber Dime after 4 years of detecting. Well did not expect to repeat the feat so soon, but here I am beginning 2019 with another dime trifecta and a Merc Hat Trick. The 37' was cleaned with the remaining water I had left in my water bottle which is why is looks a lot nicer than the others still covered in dirt. Also, found a real neat brass/copper 1830s Hoyle Gaming Token. The one side is legible "Keep Your Temper" but the other side is still encrusted and I'm slowly working crust removal to see if I can get the image to come through. So ended the hunt with a 1915 Barber, 1950 Rosie, 41' 37' and 38' Merc and a 42' War Nickel. Add in a bunch of clad and of course park trash (can slaw, pull tabs, etc.) Anyway thank you all for looking and can't wait to get back to this "Field of Dimes" to see if I can repeat my finds for a third hunt...lol yeah I'm pushing it I know.
