Second Silver Ring .925

About a month ago I found a silver ring at a ball park. It had an onyx stone. I found this one today at the entrance to the state fair grounds. It was around 5 inches down. Stamped .925 but what ever stone was in it is missing. I looked in the hole and all around it to see if I could find a stone but no luck. Still 2 silvers for 2008. I hope I get a gold one in 09! Happy New Year All and wish for everyone to find a ring in 2009.

it is always cool to find a ring of any kind I think..... but esp silver ones cause they are unexpected.... I always think it is another clad quarter.. then bam LOL I hunt on land only.. so rings for me are pretty rare.... I have managed 2 silver ones, 1 gold one and a platinum one(class ring that I returned) over my detecting career of 17 yrs

minton 7 I too have not been able to beach hunt yet. And your right, the rings showed as a coin, could have been a dime or quarter. I get an adrenaline rush......like catching a fish.
