Second time out did some research on the area and where the old buildings stood (got some decent aerials from 1939) first time I was out I found this:
http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/todays-finds/289416-first-day-out-ever-found-few-things.html
I saw a remits of a old foundation and after the finds of tons of broken iron and trash and the tractor or plow weight plus the aerial photos I was hunting the smallest structure of the 6 buildings on my land prob a barn or shed. I org only thought there was one building but after seeing the images over the years there was over 6 built in slightly different areas.
This time I focused on the where the main buildings where and after a short time and more broken iron I found the nickle about 4 inches deep right near the still visible "access road" I stayed in the same area and about 40 min later found the dime. I was pumped to finally not find trash, new coins during testing or something huge with my BH IV.
I will be back out this weekend with some ice cold beer so I can focus longer than a hour or two, maybe my GF, some flags, new pin pointer I have yet to play with and put her on the hunt.
