Finished up with some yard work this afternoon and decided to give the homesite I found a second try. This place seems to be giving just enough to interesting stuff to keep me coming back. Also it is just a 10 min hike thru the woods from the house so it is very convenient. This trip didn't get any coins, actually the only coin so far has been a 1940 Washington quarter. Most of the finds were normal farm house type things, horse tack, an old file, rivets, etc. The best finds were a W. Bohannan railroad switch key, a St. Christopher badge, an aluminum thimble marked "Sweet Rose Flour" and an old brass ring minus the stone. This place keeps giving enough that I will keep going back when I have time.

Nice group of finds. A site that can be reached by foot from your home is awesome. Congrats.
