Hello all , I found this Tudor brooch today, when it was new it was silver gilded and would have looked very nice. Unfortunately after around 500 years in the ground it don't look too good. Also found a worn copper farthing of Charles 11, 1674. Can't complain it was a wonderful afternoon to detect and just chill out.

Hi,

Its a Tudor Clothes fastener, just missing its hook. - Very nice Find, I have yet to get that type 8)
 

I'll traid you my ear ring and hair thingie for

your 500 year old Tudor brooch. lol

Nice. The only things around here 500 years

old is arrow heads and Indian artifacts.

Hese's my best one.

It may be 3,000 years old. Haven't positivly ID'ed it.

Hello it looks too big to be a clothes fastener it's also hollow. I found something very similar a few years back in silver it was classed as a hat brooch. Had loads of dress fasteners all solid and smaller.

That arrowhead is probably 8000+ looks dalton-ish, but dont quote me on that im just goin off the top of my head.

You can only find what's there, and that's a fantastic arrow head.

I know they are hollow & quite large compared to the normal type. I have handled several with the hooks.

i've been with him all day today(8am-7pm) and as far as i could tell he's a detectorist ;D

Hello Mike , looks very much like a small fresh water pearl.
