Although only about 85 percent intact it does show the infantry horn or bugle, company A 2nd regiment. The lower portion of the 2 is missing. I found it folded up and didn’t realize what it was till I got home

Excellent find but I haven't seen one in lead. Do you think a soldier was playing around with melted lead? Very cool

98202C83-403D-4545-9FDC-3D04EFBDB85F.webpAn update on the lead insignia. I went back to the fort and the spot I found the insignia. The other portion was still in the hole. Wish it was whole!
