serpent mound located in an impacted crater ?

I recently read that serpent mound in Ohio is located in a impact crater . just wondering if anyone knows if meteore rock has ever been found around that part of Ohio or anywhere in Ohio . what I read also claimed they're is iridium mines under the mound .

Never heard of that but it would be nice if it were so. That would explain some things and raise more questions at the same time. I figure though if there were iridium under the mound it would be public knowledge. The Serpent Mound is a very special structure and was probably built on a special/sacred location.
