I had a hunch about this particular spot, and have been meaning check out for some time.

The hunch was good I got 7 silvers which is a personal best for a hunt.
Keep in mind these things are not pretty, I would have mistaken some of the dimes for pennies if it were not for the reeded edge, and as they are just common date stuff, are the perfect candidates for some experimentation.

This a couple after about 15 minutes of electrolysis, which I would not use on any copper or silver if I thought very highly of it, but at least they now look a "little" more like silver

I got some info on cleaning this type of stuff from someone who should know, I'll be trying out soon.

Saving seven salty silvers is sweet!

From the land of the Bluenose.....that is fantastic SPR. Not many days of bouys getting out and finding that many silver. SS, ND and I were going to go outthis day but weather is bad. Still might go out later.

Righteous, Rick! Am I wrong, or are most of those cartridge cases .303?

I think so, and most appear dated ? 1941,2,3, and a few 9mm pistol rounds.

Silver is silver! Looks like a pretty decent day!
