Well I mostly metal detect, but when it's too hot I hunt for fossils. I've got tons of cylyndra canthis, tons of stingray teeth an stingers, Wooley mammoth teeth an tusk. My favorite is the shark teeth. Found my tenth one as of Saturday. I was always under the impression they were megaladon teeth, but I was wrong. They're Carcharodon auriculatus, which I found out today. We'll any other info would be appreciated, and hope I can find more to show yall.

Great finds VONCLEMEN29, we also find Auriculatus teeth diving in the Suwanee River in north Florida. The description of other artifacts you're finding sounds like the same stuff we're finding. I went surface hunting in an old Phosphate mine a couple months ago and found my first Carcharodon Megaladon. The length measures 5". Here's some pics, Good luck hunting, hope you find your Megaladon tooth.

Wow! Yea I'd love to find me one of those. I'll post more when I get out an find more. Thanks.

Without seeing the cusps and roots I would agree the big teeth seem to be Rics, the three small teeth look like sand tiger and the Mako looks like Isurus Retroflexus. I have 100's if not 1000's of teeth but I dive, dig and scan for them all over lol.

Just a little info, you know the Carcharocles Auriculatus (Ric) would be the grandpa to the Carcharocles Megalodon (Meg), right?

I know a lot of people like the big Megs and I have a few that are over 6" but my favorite is the Giant Extinct Mako, or Isurus Hastalis, I have a few that are 3"+.
