Finally no sharks, thought they'd never leave. Spent 6 hours in the water yesterday. It took me 5½ hours to find this piece of Gold, a 14K wedding band 5.8 grams. Also got a cute sterling silver pendant of a sea turtle hatching out of its egg. Sterling ring, one of those big CZ earrings that make your heart skip a beat for a second. Puka bead anklet, and other junk earrings. Least I didn't have to freeze in the ice ponds. Aloha all.

It's great to find gold even if it is a plain band but I love the silver ring and the turtle hatching is wonderful! WTG

Glad the sharks moved on for you to. I love the design on the silver ring

Great looking hunt there. Its funny, thats the third ring of that exact style I have seen posted here. One of them I found. Very cool!

Hey Finderzz I was on the Big Island and the whole shark thing sucked!! I couldn't even put my feet on the beach because they were freaking out. Where do you hunt on the Kona side? I hunted Hapuna which was a huge beach to look and went up and down the coast but only found silver rings and a bunch of change!! Where is all the gold at because I couldn't seem to find not one ring!! I met a hunter by the name of Mike in Kona and there are a few guys hunting there so little scarce to find gold. I am going back one day to look any suggestions on where to go? Aloha ;D
