We had to arrive early this morning to get a chance on 'The Field' but it was too late, & it was already in graded condition for the seed (strangely this farmer doesn't like footprints before drilling) So before he got in the next field we started & the fun began....The game was Trackor Chicken We were running up & down like loons :P Great fun & I was glad to share a special find with Shaun7

Tried a Roman Site we only discovered this year but very little around in the way of coins

Finally got a Roman Silver Vespsian, circa 69 AD - one of our earliest rulers to find in our area, although it has 100 years of wear

Nice 17th C Lead powder flask lid
Early pewter toy matchlock pistol
2 Roman Bronzes
Lead Tokens

A bonus circa 14th Century Buckle (type I need) & a fragment of a Roman Childs Ring.

Excellent thanks, my first thought was musket/gun related. Dad talked me out of it. I don't find many weapon related items, so not familar with them. (at least I have something new to the collection) What sort of date?
