Well luck again! Last Saturday I found a c.s.a. Buckle, so I went back today to try again. Was walking through some thick briars an weeds got a good signal, looked down an right on top of the ground like somebody had dug it up an left it for me! This











Pretty good shape other than being hit! Oh well, another save. I'm definitely going back there again. Like I've said before, I've been hunting there for two years finding cast iron junk, and for some reason this last month it's been turning up some good stuff.

Good ole General Service button. Great find. Looks like it has met the plow. Any day you find a Civil War relic is a good day hunting relics. Congrats.

Yep, any cw find is a good one for sure. My second general service button. Still crazy how if was on top of the ground. In a thicket... Maybe an armadillo helped me out.
