Shiney Moose...is it a proof coin?

This is the shinniest coin I've seen a 2004 Canadian Quarter. The scan doesn't show it but I was wondering if it is a proof coin or is that just the way the canadian coins are?

It's actually a caribou. the moosehead is found on the label of one of their lager beers. : ^ )

You're right, the scan doesn't do the coin justice.

If the images look white or frosty, and the background dark and mirrored....it is likely a proof.
