shocking!?

This item I thought was interesting. Found deep in the fields of lower Delaware. It is an iron rod wrapped in copper or brass wire. Maybe some kind of electromagnet or old motor. Let me know what you think. Thanks, deldave

No, not a one. This was in the middle of a 50acre field. Previously there may have been poultry houses. I have hunted the whole area over the years and this is one of a kind!

Looks like part of an old elctromagnet.
