Found this shoe buckle. Sorry for the pics, right on the spot of the find. Not up on them. Is this from the 18th or 19th century? Does anyone know if it was made here, or from overseas?

Not a shoe buckle, double looped buckle, if the centre bar is raised, likely horse tack. late 16th to mid 17thc.

Thanks guys. I have found a lot of small harness type buckle's, but never one like this.
