Had tons of chores but I spared a short time to hit a nearby honey hole early in the am. It's a suspected early church picnic spot for my locale. It's very brushy and I only go there late fall and winter. I did ok for the short time I was there.
My second signal was my first ever shield Nickel, it was only 3" deep! It's holed and dated 1869!
Found a few lamp parts, a modern quarter, an old piece of lead, and a nice locket.
The cool part about the locket is that I found part of it last year. I wasn't sure what it was, so I kept it and the design matches the new piece I found.
