Went to the field today for a hour. Found these coins and a strange coin or medallion. 1974 1 mark coin, a 1933 reichpfenning and then this medallion that has what looks to be a king holding a chalice on one side and then the other shows a 12 in the middle and the words Frankfurt's brauebeien which means breweries in German. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for looking. IMG_20190116_052226.webp IIMG_20190116_052249.webpIMG_20190116_052238.webp

Good finds. I googled German beer tokens and saw pics that look a lot like your find.

I will look this up. Thank you

Nice finds. I like that medallion.

Wow 1875 cool!! I wonder what this token is worth to collectors?

Thats cool, a beer token would be on my wish list, too.

As for Value, errhh many things you find in Europe can be extremly cool but are not worth much.

The token in prime condition goes for EUR 10 here:

The 1/2 denomination is btw. almost certainly half a litre not half a kreuzer.

Super cool find for me. I will add it to the collection. Thanks guys

I think that token entitles you to free beer for the rest of your life at any of a dozen breweries around Germany - you have hit the lottery my friend !

Jep, beer token for 1/2 Liter. Nice find you don't get often. Nobody likes to loose the chance for a beer.... :occasion14:

Haha I should bring it over to one of them in Frankfurt and show them..try n snaggle a few brews.

I vote Hieniken Well done cool finds
