Got a chance to go out tonight after the family was done with Easter. Got about an hour in before the rain shut me down. I got a few things and two wheaties and a 1936 Quarter. This is my third silver since starting this hobby two weeks ago. I also added other finds from this last week of interest in this group picture.

Dave

Dave,

You're doing really well with your new E-Trac!! I think you're hooked. It sounds like you have some good places to hunt already lined up, too. That is a key to great finds. Keep up the great work!

I look forward to seeing you Wednesday.

Three silvers in your first 2 weeks of the hobby is a great start! I can say that you are undoubtedly hooked now, huh?

Congrats on the great finds! I like the badge thing too, up in the corner. Any info you can share about that?

Happy hunting!!!

The star badge thing is actually a good luck token you get at the county fairs around here. It says " MR. HARPE R. MONGAR" on it. These come from a vending machine like the ones that smash your penny and engrave it for you. You put in your text and it stamps it into the aluminum token for you.

When I dug this and looked at the plug I freaked, it looked exactly like a half dollar lying in the dirt. Once I picked it up even dirty I knew it was way too light to be a half dollar.

The picture shows from left to right the good luck token, a lead bullet ball, a gold colored necklace charm of some kind, a silver watch band part, and a button, two wheat cents, a miss marquetee river boat token 25 cent, and the silver quarter.

I am way more than hooked already, just can't wait for a muti-silver day though. Thanks for the replies,

HH,
Dave
