Short Hunt Grade Old School Soccer Field - Ring

Hi gang,
I hunted for 45 min before meeting the retired guys for lunch at KFC=$2 with free drink. Just mentioned that for other MDers my age.

I was hunting the perimeter of the field on my way back to the car. Only found a dime and quarter in clad then this +28 VDI signal. Some say they can be rings..so..I dug and found can slaw. I moved another 10 ft and got another +28 signal and thought...what the heck, I haven't dug much today. Bingo= nice little ring at 2-3" down. It was about were the farthest most corner of the field might have been and a long walk from the school.

Cleaned up Ring - Jeweler says a nice little ring=keep trying!

No, I live in Beavercreek and the chips are checked regularly. The stone fell out of the ring after I photographed it..lol

Looks like that place has some age... have you ever found any silver, or old coins there? that's exactly the kind of place I can spend hours at... looks like easy digging, and with a place that big, there's no way it can all be found...
