Short Hunt in The Sierra

Had a few hours to kill so I went into the mountains around my house and looked for old hunting camps. As usual, most targets were comprised of foil, bottle caps and aluminum tabs.
The square stake is unlike any I have previously found and the hat button came from about 6 inches down looking mighty fresh. I know nothing of buttons, so any thoughts would be welcome.
