Had to fight cabin fever today. We had rain every day the last two weeks, rivers flooding and todays morning started with sun! Grabbed the detector and the dogs and got me a fairly walkable field.

Not much to show, still got finds covering almost 2000 years. The roman scrappy seems to be a Dupondius.

I liked to get out, others did the same. This guy rolled out his 80year old plane to have some fun in the windy afternoon.
WWII era Fieseler Storch Fi 156, one of the first STOL planes.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nothing wrong with those find's! Any idea what the piece next to the Roman is? Nice plane!

Yeap, the rain is crazy at the moment. One of the worst Jan on record.
Looks worth the effort.

I don't know. It's bronze and by the look and feel i'd say modern. Could be still 2 or 300 years old.

This field was worth a try as it is surrounded by roman sites. My buddy found roman too so we will come back when the conditions are better.

Glad you had a chance to get out. We have a foot of snow on the ground. Nice finds!
