Due to Michigans "almost" shutdown, I was delt an unscheduled day off today.I havent been on a hunt since Labor day so I was really looking forward to doin a little dirt swinging.........It poured rain ...allllll....day!
Given that, my garage looks alot better after today.
Anyway, just before dark, I couldnt take it anymore and headed out, rain or no.With little time, I headed to a spot close to home that I have had a hunch about.A large , grassy strip between a parking lot and a park.I know the park gets hunted heavily, but what about this area?
Bingo! I hunted only 15 minutes in a heavy drizzle and was hitting plenty of good targets.Several coins, a couple game tokens, and a beauty 1.2oz Mexican silver bracelet.Hunch confirmed....run for the truck.
Dont know when Ill be able to return, but the next time I do, my hunch says Ill return with a pile of goodies. This is a large area with alot of potential....Im excited. Best of luck to all.....Joe

I think I could stand getting a little wet for some finds like that!

Glad to see your hunch paid off big time. I am amazed at what you can find on those grass strips. Thanks for posting.
