Short Hunt Toasted LC

The kid and I got out for a little over an hour hunt at a 1800's farm field where the kid found some CW lead last week and a couple points.
There was a dusting of snow laying but, the ground wasn't frozen in the least. There wasn't much trash except some iron hits. Almost too slow at times for hits. We dug some modern lead and some horseshoe pieces.
I got a 85-86 hit but, shallow only 2-4 inches deep. Flip a plug and looks like a toasted LC.
The kid ended up finding a flat button that's in pretty good shape and still has the shank.
We plan on spending some serious time here not only looking for relics but, also Indian artifacts. The home owner says the one section of field was a Indian burial ground and points were found on this property in the past.

The lead and one point is the kids from last week.

We could see just enough to know it was a LC. Lol We hit some more of the field today, I got another toasted LC and the kid got a half cent. The half cent we can see a date, either 1805 or 1806.

Definitely an LC. Congrats! Hiked a ridge this AM in hopes of finding anything CW but no luck. While up there I found about 20 shotgun headstamps and saw a deer rub or two and thought I may find an antler. None to be had today. Also got a surprise multi-hit 83 signal and ended up digging four clad quarters, probably from a hunter. Near the end of my hike I got another mid-tone and expected shotgun but it turned out to be a tombac flat button!
