short hunt

Thought I would go out in my back yard for a little while.I live in a old house in the small town of Bronson Michigan.The second hole I dug I found this ring.It says sterling pat.pend.with what looks like a indian face stamped on the inside.I don't know what it means or if it is worth anything but thought it was kinda neat.
