Took the RV to Fort Desoto State Park in FL. for a few nights. Got a little hunting in while there. Lots of trash , a little clad , broken bling pendant , and one silver earring. Lots of beach to hunt , but there's a nasty layer of black clay-like mud under the sand that likes to clump up in the scoop. I did find my first cell phone. Nice place to visit , but I won't be in a hurry to hunt there again. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501343763.032243.webp

I hate those black muck beaches - Since sand is next to impossible to sift I usually bring my pinpointer along ,,, When target is in the scoop just dump it out and poinpoint it.

I didn't do any good when I hunted it either.

Not surprising. Still nice to try new beaches every once in awhile.
