Short Productive Civil War Hunt

I had the morning open to detect yesterday and was pretty excited to get to a couple of spots. Bulldozers had totally wiped out one, taking several feet top soil. The other field had higher grass than I expected and I couldn't hardly swing the coil.....but the shoulder of the road had just been mowed. I put a small coil on and went at it. I spent about 4 hours detecting right beside of the road and found 4 CW items, the best being a NC Sunburst button. I also found my 3rd ever Wilkinson bullet.--JB
