Hello Forum,

I wanted to share a picture of my headstamp display project. It's not done, but it's coming along nicely. Can any help me to identify the ages of these? Thanks for looking! IMG_0368.webp

Thanks Chiltepin and MK4125. Cherry wood, Cherry stain 13/16" holes at 1" squares. a lot of digging, cleaning, and polishing :-D I was just wondering if I had any that are very very old, and if there is any value. Some would say I am nuts, but I thought it would look good in my office.

Pretty cool display, made me think of an old damascus double barrel shotgun I found in a farmers field, one barrel was bulged out, the stock was all worm holes, anyway it made a cool standing lamp that would be neat to display your headstamp collection, Just a thought.

Can you Pull out the Rem-UMC No. 12 Arrow and take a pick of the Remington stamp on the side that is way too nice to stick in a Hole.

Click this for the catalog image scroll to very bottom.

Awesome display! Dont think your nuts i like the old shotgun brass!
3rd row 7 across is UMC&CO Nitro Express - Late 1800s early 1900s Before they were bought out by remington
I have that one as well.
Cant wait to see it complete!

I think you display is COOL AS HECK! I am getting a whole new respect for old shotgun brass. :headbang:

I like this. Don't have the 3 I found so I can see that there is a LOT to found yet by me! I can't wait to see it full!

That is nice. I put all mine into a recycle bucket. never thought of cleaning them up or thought there was any value (is there?) or collectability.
Might have to pull them out and really look at them, I've found some in places with other very old stuff.

Hello Forum,

It's finally done! Finito! Thanks for looking!
