Should be A.T.?

Hello, So to escape the heat I've been doing some dump digging with some friends. Dug this tag. It should be an Arizona Territory tag but says:

Paddy, Ryan, Taber
Williams, Arizona
1889

Is it a souvenir? Like 3 railroad guys go into a store and get this made? Or is it something different entirely? Any help would be great.

Is there a town called Williams there? Maybe that was their last name. When did AZ achieve statehood? That's a great find! Congrats!

Thanks for the help. Williams is the name of the town. It was founded in 1881 and AZ became a state in 1912. That's why I was wondering why it wouldnt say A.T. unless it is meant to look old and really isnt. I'm going back to Williams on Sat. Perhaps I can bring it and someone can shed light on it.
