Ooohk... I'm not sure it it's normal to find the amount of tools in my spot.. But I'm tired of finding them! What keeps me going back are pieces like these... But can't find a whole one.. What.so.ever! I see you guys posting pics of your tools...are those just as hard to find as points? I think my spot was a camp for either making tools or using them after they hunted... Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful spot along a stream perfect to hunt during this hot weather...

I've never found any flaked tools but am interested in doing so. I'd be excited to have a spot like yours.

You're finding a lot at your site! Keep looking! I'm happy when I just find flakes/debitage. It's mind boggling to me that LONG before our ancestors got here, there were people living, working, and thriving here. Finding any evidence connects me to them and is fascinating!

Like my mentor told me, you have to find 100 brokes before you find a whole one!

When you say Tools, just what are you meaning? Do you mean Stone Tools like Axes, Celts, Pestles, etc or do you mean Scrapers, Drills, Knives etc?

Those are great finds! I mostly find pottery but once in a while I'm lucky enough to find a point. I don't find many tools, a couple of knives and a mano is about all. Keep searching, you've got a great spot.

For now small tools scrapers, drills, etc! I'm sure there are larger (heavier) stone artifacts but I'm not good at identifying them yet...
