Should I get a Makro Racer 2 or Whites mx5?

Hey there friend. Fairly new to metal detecting and already have a macro gold racer. Looking for people's opinion on whether to get a makro Racer 2 or a whites MX5? I can't decide on one so looking for your opinion....

There is a You Tube video of Keith Southern air testing the Makro Racer 2 at 20 inches on a nickel. White's says the MX5 air tests 11.5" on a quarter and with more noise than the MX Sport that air tests 12.5" on a quarter. My original Makro Racer air tests 14" on a quarter. They reduced the MSRP price of it from $749 to $499 & a dealer might quote a little lower in e-mail or by phone & probably could find a used one for $325-$375 shipped. Best wishes, George (MN)
