Spent most of the day today chipping ice from a storm
that came in late yesterday.
Did make some time out in the shed, checking more boxes.
Not sure but I think this item would be used in a Roman
Catholic Home to hold items a priest would use, if he paid
a home visit to someone sick or dying.

(IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER IDEAS, PLEASE.)

I remember that my folks had a large statue, with a false back
that contained many of the item mentioned above, not near the size
of this item.
That is a statue behind the glass on top.
Have no idea how old; think, because of its size, that is an 18 inch
ruler next to it, it would have belonged to a very religious family.
Bottom section, think the glass was broken since it is missing,
used to store items.
Neat place for small candle on each side.

back:

Clean it up, fix up, should be interesting when finished.
(Never know, this old fart may sneak it into heaven yet.)
Thanks for looking.
all have a good un.........
