Sidewalk tear out leads to a Walker!

Hit a sidewalk tear out and wasn’t finding much in the tear out... So I started detecting the curb strip next to the tear out and eventually found a Merc and a sterling band. The curb strip is an embankment that quickly slopes 20 feet down to the street below. I decided to try detecting the the top of the slope and quickly plucked out a Walker!

look for older side walk strips that were on old parade routes where people could sit and watch - yours sounds like it couldve been
 
That’s a good suggestion Casper! I think I just lucked out getting my coil over this one. I continued detecting the slope but didn’t find anything else amongst the weeds and litter. It is definitely not the easiest place to detect.
