Drove over the mountains today and then back. A few inches of snow fell over the pass on the way home. Still a lot of snow up there! 9D984FB4-2CED-4390-AAC8-D39555BF444C.webp2F74675A-B300-44F5-ACA1-0285988A74EC.webpE8E4C2E7-17AB-413A-936E-D7197634B57F.webp51C25C57-2629-48BA-B819-50B691A312D4.webp

Great shots. Was the snowfall above normal in the Sierras this year?

Snow was about 180% of normal. Temperatures in May ran about 20 degrees below normal and it’s been snowing in the mountains still. Keeping the snowpack from melting.

Beautiful snow covered terrain! :occasion14:

All over the West has been good with precipitation this year. Tomorrow morning I'm headed out and going as far as Yerington, NV and should wrap-up my work there by Wednesday afternoon and then go to the Elko Nevada as they have their annual mining convention days. Kinda sad I won't be having enough time to take some of the roads less travelled on my trip. Gonna be mostly the big roads to Western Nevada and back this trip, due to limited time I have to get out and get back.

Beautiful! All of them are just beautiful! Thank you!

Freakin awesome I love traveling
