I recently had some time to do a little sifting and detecting. I managed to come up with a few trinkets. A 1730 KG, 1810 large cent, Two 1762 Spanish Colonial Patriotic pewter buttons, an early cloth seal with an "H" and a fish on it, and some earl buttons. The sifting is hard work:blob7:

.....but apparently worth it! NICE!

Sounds like fun. Nice finds.

Beautiful results! Well done! I especially love the Spanish buttons!

Nice Cannonball. Thanks for sharing...

Nice buttons and coins. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like the payoff was worth your hard work. The two "buttons" that are attached to each other, are cuff links. Only mentioning this, in case you did not know.

Sweet I see some of my bucket listers in that pile. That sifting seems much easier than detecting in trashy spots cellar holes ECT. Great post. Tommy

1730 copper? Looks in great shape.
Congrats on all the finds!

Congrats on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Really awesome saves, congratulations

That 1730 KG II looks like one of the best reverses I've ever seen on a dug KG! How does the obverse look?
