Hello friends,
I found these carvings at a depth of 5 meters.
They contain several shapes and symbols.
The area is mountainous and rocky.
We notice here an engraving of a cow’s face with an "X" symbol above it,
and in the other image, a partial face of a woman.

Is there anyone who can explain what they indicate?
Thank you all.

I think the marks are natural, not carved, and any similarity to recognizable objects is pareidolia. (After all, if they were markers of some sort, why bury them 5 meters deep? Markers aren't very useful if you can't find them.)

Hello my friend,
I found this place using copper rods for dowsing.
When I started digging, I encountered different layers—first snail shells, then pieces of pottery,
followed by small rocks.
I also found a glass cup with a shiny green color.
There was also an engraving on the surface of the ground that we discovered before digging.
This engraving resembled a cow's hoof, and it had a triangle symbol on it.
After analyzing the symbols and taking measurements, I dug and found these carvings.

On the ground? As in, on the dirt itself? I really wouldn't put any stock in that.

If you think there's something down there, feel free to keep digging. But personally, I think your rods have led you on a wild goose chase.

I see no woman’s face. Rock looks like it was eroded or dissolved.
**"Esteemed Sir,
This site features three distinct symbols believed to be associated with ancient burial talismans.
For clarity, I will number them as follows:

1. A footprint of a child

2. The letter 'Y'

3. A half face with a closed eye

These engravings were used by earlier civilizations such as the Phoenician, Greek, and Roman cultures. They are commonly interpreted as part of ritualistic burial practices, which often involved symbolic markings intended to convey spiritual protection, guide the soul, or mark a significant sacred location.
It is likely that scholars and practitioners in the field of metaphysics will recognize the deeper significance of these signs.

No disrespect, But I feel I could find those signs anywhere if I looked. Good luck however. Those that do not search will find only what they stumble upon.

Are you in a place where any of those cultures previously existed? I still don't see any evidence of carvings, just natural rocks that happen to resemble various things.

Archaeological Note – Burial Symbols and Ancient Rituals
When searching for buried relics, one cannot expect to find meaningful stone engravings just anywhere. The first and most crucial step is selecting a historically significant location.

The images presented here were captured near an ancient fortress believed to have been constructed by King Cyrus the Great around 529 BC. Such locations often hold archaeological value due to their historical and cultural context.

An experienced expert is able to distinguish between natural rock patterns and authentic symbolic inscriptions, which may serve as indicators of burial sites.

It is also essential to understand what the ancients referred to as burial rituals. When sealing burial chambers, they often used several deliberate layers, including:

A layer of charcoal

A layer of fine sand

A layer of stones

A layer of pottery shards

A layer of snail shells

And other symbolic materials

Each civilization—Phoenician, Greek, Roman, or others—had its own burial customs and ritual layers, often rich in symbolic meaning.

Yes indeed.

Like I said, if you believe there is something there, keep digging. I wish you great success.

Thank you, Sir. I will continue my exploration.
The reason I share this is because I genuinely hope there are experts in this field who can assist me in interpreting these carvings—understanding what they symbolize and identifying which ancient civilization they belong to.

Any insights or guidance would be deeply appreciated.

So you are a distinguished expert in this field of study, in order to recognize these carvings, from ordinary stones with character?

If so, what kind of help are you specifically looking for?

Sounds exciting.

I am not an expert, but I am a researcher and a seeker of antiquities.
I have discovered several archaeological tombs through stone carvings.
However, these particular inscriptions are beyond my current level of expertise.
I asked an AI for a website that specializes in analyzing ancient inscriptions and symbols, and it recommended this site.
But it seems to me that most of your focus is on surface-level finds discovered with metal detectors.
I suppose that makes sense, as there are likely no ancient civilizations near your area

Very few of us digging 3 meter deep holes based on dowsing. Fewer looking for carved stones that lead to hoards. Even fewer actually finding hoards. Based on that type of search. I’d bet the success rate on something like that here is likely near zero.

There is a dowsing forum as well as a treasure signs forum. Check them out, some will be willing to show you where your hoard is buried for free.

I respect your opinion, but it seems you're speaking from a limited personal experience. Meanwhile, we work based on field studies and careful analysis of carvings and symbols — many of which have repeatedly proven effective at known archaeological sites.
Dowsing, geological surveying, and symbolic analysis are not myths as you suggest; they are tools used by the ancients themselves and rediscovered by serious researchers. Success is not measured by failed attempts, but by how well you understand what you're looking for.
As for the 'free forums' you mentioned, most are filled with amateurs or people making baseless claims. We, on the other hand, seek truth supported by logic and evidence. If you haven't found anything, perhaps you've been searching in the wrong place or in the wrong way.

The forums mentioned are on this board. You are the one who came here looking for advice and opinions, and when it was given, you dismissed it as coming from amateurs. Perhaps you would have better luck inquiring at the archaeology department of a university or two in your area,
