Fisher F75

Metal Detecting
Got out twice last week, Saturday AM being the second. Two different areas around town (Baltimore) and two sterling rings!

On my way to a recent hunt, I stopped to get gas on the way and there lying by the pump was a 14K earring, a little damaged.
All four jewelry items are pictured here; the other earring is sterling.

Both hunts produced some older items:

First hunt (5/24/17): colonial era spoon bowl, street car token, army air wings pin, silvered button, and .38 cal wadcutter.

Second hunt (5/27/17): workers token stating " TIN MILL 5 Ct. COUPON"; this likely came from a worker at the tinning operations at Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point and was dug at a school in Dundalk.

Some really satisfying finds located with the Fisher F75. Lesson to me: dig those quarter signals, even if shallow; that's what the rings sounded like and rang up as.

Now that's a buffet of keepers right there. The rings are nice but the Army air wings pin is sweet. Congrats to you Mr. McCDig.

Congratualtions on the relics and jewelry! :occasion14:

Thx ShovelinDave! Yep, military is special and appropriate to post on Memorial Day 2017!

Thx Professor! Very cool to find these keepers and they've come while doing joint hunts with other detectorists.

Thanks Art! I am really please with the F75; it doesn't overload on shallow targets and is very sensitive to pick up the deep ones too!

I'm really glad to see your posts . I remember a time when both of us were kinda struggling to find some good stuff . I think its been looking much better for you!! Me also keep up the great finds.Ill be waiting for that Banner find that's coming your way this year!!! Tommy

Thanks Tommy! It has been a great year of finds. Many memorable digs in the cold, not so cold and now things are warming up.
Got a month now before we are off for two months from the city parks, not that I've been doin' that much with them.
During July and August I'll stick with the county parks, so plenty to keep me busy.
Keep swingin'.
